The trustees of HOPE International have made a long term commitment to needy families in Cambodia.

With little infrastructure left intact after the Pol Pot years, with millions starving and only one third of the rural population having access to clean water, our focus is on poor rural communities within the Pursat Province.

HOPE projects transform people’s lives by providing funding and technical knowledge to provide:

  • Clean drinking waterdscf0183
  • Sustainable agriculture
    • Home Gardens
    • Dry Rice project
  • Primary health education
  • Installation of latrines
  • Family income development
  • Education and training
  • Sustainable electricity generation.

Today, as a result of our projects, thousands of Cambodians are experiencing better health because they have abundant supplies of clean water, nutritious food and health care education.

Two things have made this possible – the desire of Cambodians to build a better life and nurturing support of donors who believe life can be better for people born into a life of absolute poverty. View the Stories to see how lives have been transformed.
